Changing Lives with Jesus

You are here: Home » Worship

St. Augustine, who appears in one of our stained-glass windows, says of God, “You have made us for yourself, and our hearts are restless until they rest in you.” Worship is a basic response to God, an expression of who we are as human beings.

Gathering for worship on Sunday mornings in remembrance of the resurrection of Jesus is the central activity of the church.  Other times throughout the year, or at key moments of human life, worship focuses our attention on God’s ongoing, gracious involvement in the world that makes life holy.

We invite you to worship with us.

Covenant provides a variety of worship experiences from informal to formal. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. Special services of music are presented during Advent and Lent. Childcare is provided on Sunday mornings beginning at 9:00 a.m. Covenant also celebrates significant life events, including marriage & baptism.

You will find more about our worship services below.

Worship at Covenant Church in the month of November will focus on the “Legacy of the Saints in Glory.” Each week we will concentrate on a different portion of their legacy and consider the legacy we will leave behind.

Among the activities on the Covenant calendar this Advent and Christmas season is a Festival of Lessons and Carols to be held on Sunday, December 17 at 10:45 a.m.

Here's the question: how can we adequately describe what occurred during the worship service last Sunday with our guest composer, Craig Courtney? And the answer is: it's not possible.
