Lenten Sermon Series
In the Bible, a “covenant” is an agreement or understanding grounded and sustained by a loving relationship between two committed partners. That makes fidelity on both sides crucial, and means that unfaithfulness places the relationship (and therefore the covenant) in jeopardy, but that a strained covenant is not the same as a broken contract.
Throughout this Lent, we will learn about some of the covenants established between God and God’s people, and how we, as part of that people, can live our lives more faithfully and more fully.
