Ash Wednesday - February 22

Ash Wednesday is the traditional beginning of the season of Lent. This day initiates the 40-day period of spiritual preparation and personal repentance that leads up to the celebration of the resurrection of Christ on Easter Day. Worship services are scheduled for 1 p.m. in the Kingswood Chapel Room and 7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. At bothservices, we will mark the beginning of this somber season with the celebration of Holy Communion and the Invitation to observe a Holy Lent through the imposition of ashes.
