Changing Lives with Jesus

You are here: Home » Get Involved

There are many ways that you can become involved at Covenant.  Our ministry teams offer opportunities for involvement through congregational life and as part of the church’s outreach.  Other small groups offer fellowship and learning.

Check out some of these:

Team Based Ministry

Covenant has embarked on an exciting new process of revitalizing its ministry in order to better serve its community in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Team-Based Ministry is a leadership model that is not based on traditional church hierarchy, but on a process of collaboration that mirrors the relationship of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Covenant hosts both Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops.  Boy Scouts meet on alternate Monday evenings in Fellowship Hall and Girl Scouts meet on Tuesday evenings in the Epworth Building.  Both offer children a variety of enjoyable experiences that help develop character and build relationships among people of all ages and backgrounds within the community.

United Methodist Women

The United Methodist Women meet as small-group “circles” for spiritual growth, fellowship, and service.  Call the church office for the schedule of circle meetings and to determine which one will be best for you.

United Methodist Men

The United Methodist Men meet for breakfast at 8:30 on the second Saturday of each month from September to May.  Following the meal, they enjoy a program designed to help them live as Jesus’ disciples.

Keenagers are a group, retirement age and onward, drawn from across Delaware County.  They meet in Fellowship Hall on the second Tuesday of each month from September to May for dinner and fellowship.  Entertainment varies from month to month and may be anything from a barber-shop concert to an informational session on a topic of interest to seniors.  There is a nominal fee for the dinner and reservations are required.  Call the church office for more information.
